Hemp is a trillion dollar Industry about ready to explode. We the People need to know what our opportunities are to get in on it. And we need to know how to talk about it and how we can vote for it.
Hempanistas Linda Delair and Lea Walters present the incredible benefits and uses of a Hemp Industry in the United States and what it will do for the economy.
Followed by an entertaining and educational award winning documentary by Linda Booker and Blaire Johnson called Bringing It Home. bringingithomemovie.com
Attendees are encouraged to engage in a lively discussion about the many faceted non-psychoactive industrial hemp plant, one of the only crops not manipulated as GMO. Hemp remediates soil, cleans air, addresses climate change, is used for food, fuel, shelter, clothing, body care products, nano technology, paper, textiles, medicine and much more.
However, it isn't legal to grow in the USA...yet. Learn how we can "bring it home," jumpstart a trillion dollar economy, create jobs, heal our soil and clean our air.
Our "hands on" hemp display includes, biodegradable plastics (a hemp snowboard!) fiber, rope, building materials like hempcrete, insulation, fiber board, as well as body care products, books, paper, clothing, and we give away samples of organic soap/moisturizer and edible hemp seeds.
