Jose Gutierrez, a correspondent for KPFA, was arrested by federal authorities on April 2nd, 2012 outside of Coffeshop Blue Sky during the Oaksterdam Raid.

Court Support: Jose Gutierrez’s Court Date Rescheduled for Wednesday July 11th 9:30am

Dear Friends,

Thanks to all of you for your continued support. I just got word from Jose’s Attorney that the entire court calendar for has been moved from Tuesday July 10th to Wednesday July 11th, 9:30am in front of Judge Donna Ryu.

This is an arraignment hearing at the Oakland Federal Courthouse, 1301 Clay street, 3rd Floor in courtroom 4. Be sure to bring a valid ID, and leave all your medicine at home, as there is a federal security screening upon entering the building.

We are also excited that Green Aid is putting on a fundraiser to benefit Jose Gutierrez (Activist Arrested outside of Coffeshop Blue Sky at the Oaksterdam Raid by federal authorities), Daisy Bram (who had her children taken from her for cultivation in Butte County), Eddy Lepp (Currently serving a federal sentence for cultivation in Lake County), and other Green Aid clients.
