The growing
autocratic control
within Pacifica is
a great danger
to the future of
the network.
Millions of people are losing their jobs, their
homes and their health care. The need for an
activist, community-based KPFA and Pacifica
Foundation network is critical.
The elimination of Youth Radio, the Poor radio segment, the threat against
the Women's Magazine and the banning of programming from the
KPFA Labor Collective are some of the issues that need to be addressed.
The destruction of the Program Council at KPFA and lack of monthly
KPFA Board meetings and the growing autocratic control within
Pacifica is a great danger to the future of the network. The locks were
changed at WBAI's transmitter. Which station transmitter will be next?
Wednesday, June 10, 2009, 7:30PM
Join with supporters of Voices for Justice Radio and others who are
interested in developing a slate for the upcoming KFPA Local Station
