With added pressures from the financial crisis and spikes in global food and fuel costs since Fall 2007, the poor in the poorer developing countries are faced with losing much relied upon foreign aid and emergency assistance. Dr. Christopher Delgado from the World Bank discusses the context and causes of the global food crisis and the future for international development efforts for increased food security in the countries hit hardest.

I know I'm preaching to the choir here, but the choir needs to sing a lot louder.
By the way, "developing countries" is a cynical euphemism for countries that are mainly developing more hunger, disease and social breakdown, thanks mainly to the "developed countries", their World Bank, IMF, etc., and their bribed local collaborators.
