MMJ Land Use Hearing Today! City Hall Rm 263!

Dear San Francisco Cannabis Community,

Today at 1p.m. is an important hearing for all patients and collectives in the city.
The deadline extension is going before the Land Use and Economic Development
Committee. In order for us to continue to use the services of cannabis dispensaries
past July 1st (the Health Department deadline) we must assure that this committee
not only approves the deadline but also does not put in any additional restrictions
on an already cumbersome process. For more information, please see below.

217, 790.141, and 890.133 to extend the time period for certain medical cannabis
dispensaries to obtain a permit from March 1, 2008 to January 21, 2009; and making
findings, including General Plan, Planning Code Section 101.1(b) and environmental
findings.

Committee, expires on 3/13/2008.

2/20/08, REFERRED TO DEPARTMENT. Referred to Planning Commission for review and
comment.

2/29/08, RESPONSE RECEIVED. Planning Department - non-physical exemption per CEQA
Guidelines Section 15060(c)(2).
