Sista Cynthia is gonna run for President!
Run, Cynthia, Run!
OAKLAND, CA - This is a scoop folks.
Someones gotta start the buzz, and I guess it's gonna be me. It's
not like me saying I know she's gonna run is the same as her making an official
announcement, so nobody should sweat that I'm giving up some great secret.
I'm jazzed! Sista Cynthia McKinney, former U. S. Congresswoman from Georgia,
is gonna jump from the Democratic Party and throw her hat in the ring for the Green
Party's nomination for President.
Sista Cynthia held forth at the the West Oakland Library last nite. She was simply
magnificent. Folks who don't know her well yet, need to know.
McKinney's entry into the Green Party's primary will instantly increase
the profile of our Party's nomination process. If Ralph Nader also decides
to enter our primary this time, we will have two national figures capable of drawing
crowds to their campaigns. That's not to slight any of the other excellent
candidates in the primary who have yet to become well known, and who will also contribute
to the discourse, and actually also benefit from the increased attention to our
primary.
I'm gonna come out early with my endorsement of sista Cynthia though. I believe
that she's gonna prove to be our best choice for Green Party standard bearer.
I think she can win our primary, and unite and inspire Greens for the general election.
Like Peter Camejo here in California, Cynthia can get a hearing from communities
that Greens don't usually reach, and help us build and broaden the party.
One thing is, you know sista Cynthia is gonna be a lightning rod. Fox news, the
radical right, and the Zionists will attack her viciously. I think this will all
be to the good! Lot's of free publicity. Also, since sista Cynthia is a warrior,
we don't need to worry about her more than holding her own. She has the skills
of a seasoned politician, is brilliant and well versed on all issues (domestic and
foreign policy), is an orator, has tons of charisma, and is truly from the people's
movements. She's also got the courage to speak truth to power, which Greens
need from all our candidates. Frankly, I don't think we Greens could ask for
a better candidate for President.
Look for an official announcement by the end of this weekend.
