WHEN: Tonight, December 19th 2006 8pm

WHY: Last week, the DEA closed down the Local Patients Cooperative.
Tonight, the City Council will consider whether or not to extend it's 3
year old agreement with the Hayward Patients Resource Center which is
set to expire December 31st. This collective has been operating for
several years with little or no complaints from patients or community
members. Patients in Hayward deserve a community distribution collective
in their city. Please come and tell the Council you support them in
their commitment to safe access for patients who need this medicine!
