african and asian officers are truly doing damage. they are trying to prevent the much needed peace in this world. in rural areas , you can still be attacked if you have indian or african ancestry. these police actions are not only a waste of YOUR money , they also promote racial intolerance. wake up african officers , the enemy is your bosses.

It is regrettable to see the feds so focussed on medical marijuana and wasting so many tax payers' dollars to undo popular law (prop 215.) This is a radical afront to the Constitution and to whole idea of any kind of Social Contract between the governed and this government. The people of California voted for Prop 215, so the fed should back off. Good citizens should protest this, and given all the other afronts to our democratic system that have come down the pipe since Bush 43 came to power, we should all stop paying taxes. We should then begin the struggle to re-establish true representative democracy in this land.

BUT, Compassionate Caregivers (since it changed owners in June 2005 and changed its name to New Remedies) has been run by a greedy, reckless, nepotistic lot. They are arrogant, greedy and they play favorites with their friends. So, over time, they were not doing any good in the communities of Oakland or San Francisco and they were raking in huge profits for themselves at the expense of workers and patients. So, maybe if coke-snorting, sexist, sports-fan, wanna-be mafiosos get busted now - oh well. I only hope their greed and recklessness doesn't end up making it harder for other dispensaries - but, it probably has already.

I thought the SF board of sups passed legislation that no local resources would be involved in these types of federal med marijuana raids?

You're exactly right. You've described these fools of workers and the Manager to the T. When you go for maximum yeild, at the expense of quality...you have no one to blame but yourselves. The greed was attrocious, but how can you expect casual occassional 420 smokers to be. The shit is what rules and the Cola...Pissed off the wrong, hmmmm
