Two victories yesterday!

In Fairfield, Solano County Supervisors announced that
they will be placing the medical marijuana ID card
program on their agenda sometime in September. This
happened shortly after they had previously indicated
that they had no intention of discussing the program.

In San Luis Obispo, the County Supervisors voted 3-2
to implement the county's statewide medical marijuana
ID card program. The SLO County Sheriff and District
Attorney both opposed the program, however thanks to
our lobbying efforts, neither one of them showed up at
the public hearing.

These are major local victories, especially in light
of San Diego's lawsuit challenging the program and
continued DEA raids on medical marijuana providers.

These successes would not have been possible without
the dedicated work of local activists pressuring their
county representatives to comply with state law. If
