FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE -- Ed Rosenthal and the Brunos at the
2nd Annual Area 420(tm) Pot Luck BBQ April 24, 2005

(LOS GATOS, CA) -- Area 420 and the National Marijuana Association
will co-host the 2nd Annual Area 420 Pot Luck BBQ April 24, 2005 at
Vasona Lake Park, 333 Blossom Hill Road, Los Gatos, CA.

The opening and closing times are 12 noon - 4:20pm. The National
Marijuana Association kickoff is at noon. Ed Rosenthal will speak at
2pm. At 4:20 there will be a benEDiction.

The acoustic Bruno Band will play sets at 1pm and 3pm. Catered food
service will be available for seatings at 1pm and 3pm (831 334 0830).

This will be a benefit for the National Marijuana Association
grassroots lobbying group and the 501(c)(3) Green Aid: The Medical
Marijuana Legal Defense and Education Fund, Inc.

Green Aid takes the fight for medical marijuana right to the courts.
They provide legal representation and public relations for
high-impact cases that will set legal precedents.

The National Marijuana Association is soliciting political
contributions for direct lobbying efforts. The NMA organizes letter
writing and phone-in campaigns in favor of medical legalization for
marijuana. The NMA specializes in radio and C-SPAN talk show call-ins.

Last year's successful Area 420 event at Stevens Creek Park generated
a San Jose Mercury News article on April 19, 2004. More recently NMA
founder Jim Lohse was mentioned in two San Jose Metro articles.
