The first reports are that there were thousands of police in Kreuzberg quarter of Berlin, and they quashed some mayday people.

on April 27th, some socialist youth went around on a route forbidden by the city, put up a sign announcing free rides at the subway (their subway is on the honor system anyway), and one of them was arrested by the police in the green uniforms, who probably don't carry guns.
