by Steve Zeltzer Thu, Mar 4, 2021 11:57AM
At an San Francisco Board of Supervisors special hearing on February 8, 2021 residents and whistleblowers from Treasure Island reported on the massive contamination, health problems and over-up by the City, State and Federal government of the Superfund nuclear radioactive dump site. It was used as a nuclear war training facility for sailor and the Island is now a major contraction zone for 8,000 condos despite the dangers according to residents and inspectors.
City officials from DPH said they can't help the residents and the Navy was a no show.
