No mention of the American bemouths like Facebook, Google, Amazon and their ilk. No concern for the treatment of minorities in this country since its founding. Oh and she fails to speak about Amazon, Facebook, Google and other such ilk. She must be living in an alternate universe.

I find it interesting that a "Retired Union Worker" finds the moral justification and focus to defend the murderous Chinese regime, especially during a deadly pandemic that originated in China and has infected about 10 percent of the population killing more than half a million people in the US alone, and at a time when large swathes of the country are paralyzed by arctic temperatures. Have you been vaccinated, or still worried sick about being infected? Either way, you'll need a convincing ID for your extracurricular activities.

Who benefits, cui bono, is the question we must ask about the original article by “Caroline.”

For those of us who can easily remember the many rape and torture stories of the US government, including its CIA, attributed to governments opposed by US imperialism, including but not limited to the Soviet Union, the current capitalist Russia, the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia, Kosovo, etc.), Iraq/Kuwait, Libya and now China, we know to never repeat them as all evidence of any crimes should be presented in the World Court at The Hague, Netherlands. The evidence must be examined and cross-examined by both sides, and a serious conviction based on the evidence must be obtained. The US does not bother to do this because the sole purpose of these allegations (as CNN has correctly called them) is to justify the war machine which exists solely to maximize the profits of the oil companies and the munitions makers, the primary goal of the bankrupt social order in which we live being to maximize profits. Hitler did the same thing against Jews, Russians and others for the same reason: to promote the war machine to maximize oil and munitions profits.

Here in San Francisco the anti-Asian, especially anti-Chinese racism, as expressed by "Joan" and "James" above, is running rampant with old folks being knocked down and killed by anti-Asian thugs and the popular culture promoting anti-Asian lyrics with songs promoting robbing of Asian-American homes under the guise of free speech (there is no free speech for hate speech as no one has a right to falsely yell "fire" in a crowded theater), with the response being Asian-Americans holding a huge rally at the Civic Center last weekend to protest and this past week, on Stockton Street where the Chinese-American community goes shopping for wonderful fruits, vegetables, meat and fish, all at reasonable prices, and the rest of us who enjoy good, healthy food join them in doing the same shopping, there are now San Francisco Human Rights Commission posters condemning the violence against Asian-Americans. The English language signs have pictures and words declaring correctly that the pandemic is just a disease and Asian-Americans are not to blame, contrary to the racist, unconscionable statements of “James” above. It is still debatable where it originated but whether it originated in an American germ warfare laboratory or in China is irrelevant. What is relevant for this article is the outrageous anti-Asian racism perpetrated by “James” above.

As to murderous regimes, the blood on the hands of US imperialism would make Hitler proud. After all, Nazi Germany, created by US imperialism to destroy the first socialist state, the Soviet Union, was responsible for the deaths of some 50 million people in World War 2, including killing 6 million of the 9 million Jews of Europe, the center of world Jewish population in the 1930s. The United States has outdone that record in killing starting with the genocide of Native Americans, the enslavement and continual lynching, torture, rape, false imprisonment, starvation, deliberate impoverishment and lack of education of Africans and African-Americans, the vicious exploitation of all nationalities, including children, that continues to this day all to maximize profits. The latest scandal is the horrifying treatment of Amazon workers, who are now organizing a labor union in Alabama, a bright star of hope. We are having nationwide support rallies for this urgently needed labor union on February 20, 2021, including here in San Francisco, Oakland and Richmond, as this website’s calendar verifies. The article is about an estimated 1 million Uighurs, 7% of the minority Muslim population in Xinjiang, who have been incarcerated in an expanding network of political "re-education” camps, according to officials from several countries, including the US, as well as UN experts.

The sole purpose of the article is to inform and educate the US public about the plight of Uighur people amid atrocities being committed against them by the Chinese regime.

The article does not accuse, blame, or in any way target ordinary Chinese, or Chinese Americans. Nor is it intends to, incite racism.

In fact, Nury A. Turkel, cited in the article, is an Uighur American attorney, and board chair at the Uighur Human Rights Project. Based in Washington, DC. Turkel was born in Kashgar, Xinjiang and moved to the United States after his undergraduate graduation in 1995, according to the media.

In contrast, you are desperately trying to bundle the CCP and the Chinese Americans together, making them irrecognizable from one another, by muddying the waters and confusing the issues. Any attempt to mix the two separate entities and defend them as one, giving the corrupt and indefensible CCP a free ride on the back of the Chinese Americans, is highly dangerous and would most certainly backfire, hurting rather than helping the latter.

The anti-Chinese racism perpetrated by the original author "Caroline" and her accomplices, "Joan" and James," certainly make the Nazi Republican Party proud and as we all know, the Democratic Party mouthpieces are no exception to being anti-China, namely Democracy Now and Huffington Post. In fact, the USA has been anti-Chinese since the 1949 Chinese revolution which raised life expectancy from age 35 to age 78 today, about the same as the American workingclass, due to socialized medicine. Despite the fact that China became a CAPITALIST country in 1986, with the installation of the stock market in Shanghai, it maintains socialized medicine so that while it has 1.4 billion people, it has only 4,636 COVID 19 deaths, compared to the US which has 332 million people and 495,000 COVID19 deaths. Healthy food and socialized medicine, both anathema to private profit USA, guarantee a much better response to the pandemic.

The US has yet to present its complaints against China to the World Court. The press accounts are by definition hearsay; they are not evidence.

The road to hell is paved with good intentions. Whether "Caroline" intends anti-Chinese racism or not, that is the objective effect.

When you do the bidding of US imperialism, then you are its agents. We have so many problems right here at home that this complaint about China only adds fuel to the fire of US imperialism's war against China to try to turn back the clock in China to pre-1949, when it was a colony of all the imperialist nations and its people lived in abject poverty.

For your information, the USA has also been anti-Russian since the 1917 Russian Revolution, sending American troops to Russia to join the anti-communist European troops to overthrow the Russian Revolution. Fortunately, they failed and the Soviet Union set up socialized medicine, gave women the right to vote in 1917 providing impetus to winning our right to vote in the USA in 1920, helped liberate Muslim women from the horror of having to wear face shields made of horsehair and much more. They were not the first to have socialized medicine; Germany was in 1883 and Hitler was not so stupid as to privatize medical care.

As to the paralysis of this backward, war criminal country due to 24 degrees Fahrenheit ABOVE ZERO temperature because it still has private profit utilities, this demonstrates the URGENT NEED for not only REQUIRING that Texas join the national grid, the only state to refuse to do so, so that it can obtain electricity from other states when its system fails, but also it and all the rest of the country's snow states must weatherize their systems, as is done in the world's snow countries. All of Europe, China and Canada must be shocked that this country is so backward that it is totally unprepared for snow as they experience temperatures that are BELOW ZERO. Of course, most if not all of them, have public power, which only exists in some counties and cities in this country, such as Los Angeles, Palo Alto and Sacramento.

While we are on the subject of grievances against the USA, there is also the matter of political prisoners in the US, the most famous of whom are Mumia Abu-Jamal, an African-American and Leonard Peltier, a Native American. Both Democrats and Republican presidents and governors refuse to free them, despite overwhelming evidence of innocence. Mumia was framed by Democrat Ed Rendell, then the District Attorney of Philadelphia, later the chair of the national Democratic Committee and governor of Pennsylvania.

The US is now a failed empire because it does not have socialized medicine and public power, so China is overtaking this backward country economically. China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 2.3% in 2020 while the US GDP DECLINED by 2.5%, proving that you cannot have guns and butter. The Democrat-Republicans raced to jointly pass a $740 billion bill for the war machine but they drag their feet in providing any COVID relief package. It is the same Democrat-Republican war machine that promotes anti-Chinese and anti-Russian hysteria as war is good for the profits of the oil companies and the munitions makers, the only reason the military exists.

A born-again Christian who claims to preach at his local church, Adrian Zenz is a lecturer at the European School of Culture and Theology. This anodyne-sounding campus is actually the German base of Columbia International University, a US-based evangelical Christian seminary which considers the “Bible [to be] the ultimate foundation and the final truth in every aspect of our lives,” and whose mission is to “educate people from a biblical worldview to impact the nations with the message of Christ.”

Zenz’s work on China is inspired by this biblical worldview, as he recently explained in an interview with the Wall Street Journal. “I feel very clearly led by God to do this,” he said. “I can put it that way. I’m not afraid to say that. With Xinjiang, things really changed. It became like a mission, or a ministry.”

“Along with his “mission” against China, heavenly guidance has apparently prompted Zenz to denounce homosexuality, gender equality, and the banning of physical punishment against children as threats to Christianity.”

“Zenz outlined these views in a book he co-authored in 2012, titled Worthy to Escape: Why All Believers Will Not Be Raptured Before the Tribulation. In the tome, Zenz discussed the return of Jesus Christ, the coming wrath of God, and the rise of the Antichrist.”

“Zenz predicted that the future fall of capitalism will bring to power the Antichrist within a “few decades.” He identified the force that “will usher the Antichrist into power” as “the economic and financial fall of ‘Babylon,’ with ‘Babylon’ symbolically representing the world’s global economic system (capitalism).””

“Both President Joe Biden and his Secretary of State Anthony Blinken have endorsed former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo’s last-minute accusation of “genocide” against the Muslim Uyghur population in China’s Xinjiang province. But an investigation of published work by the researcher Pompeo relied on to level his genocide allegation reveals a pattern of data abuse and fraudulent assertions that substantially undermines the incendiary charge.”

“The US government’s accusation of genocide against China stems from a single source: a June 2020 paper by Adrian Zenz, a right-wing German researcher affiliated with the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and neoconservative Jamestown Foundation in Washington, DC.”

“While Zenz’s employers describe him as “one of the world’s leading scholars on People’s Republic of China government policies towards the country’s western regions of Tibet and Xinjiang,” he is, in fact, a far-right Christian fundamentalist who has said he is “led by God” against China’s government, deplores homosexuality and gender equality, and has taught exclusively in evangelical theological institutions.”

“Moreover, a careful review of Zenz’s research shows that his assertion of genocide is contradicted by flagrant data abuse, fraudulent claims, cherry-picking of source material, and propagandistic misrepresentations.”

Uyghur families, however, were exempted from the one child policy. Urban Uyghur couples were allowed to have two children, and rural Uyghur couples three. In practice, moreover, rural Uyghurs often had large families, with as many as nine or ten children in some cases, as even Zenz acknowledged.

In 2015, the Chinese government announced a relaxation of the decades-long one-child limit on urban Han couples, allowing urban couples to have two children and rural families to have three. In Xinjiang, where birthrates routinely exceeded previously established limits, local officials urged the equal application of family planning policy between Han and Uyghur couples.”

“In July 2017, Xinjiang’s regional government ended the exemption on the old child limits for Uyghurs. Uyghur couples were thus expected to follow the same limitations recently imposed on Han couples: two children in urban areas and three in rural regions.”

“As the Chinese government has freely acknowledged, a 5 percent decrease in the birth rate in Xinjiang between 2017 and 2018 was the result of the equal enforcement of family planning policy across ethnic line.”

“In his paper, Zenz cited a September 2019 article in the US government-run outlet, Radio Free Asia, containing testimony by a US-based exile, Tursunay Ziyawudun, who claimed she was forcibly sterilized and physically tortured in a Chinese internment center.”

“However, in February 2020, Ziyawudun changed her story entirely, telling Buzzfeed: “I wasn’t beaten or abused. The hardest part was mental. It’s something I can’t explain — you suffer mentally. Being kept someplace and forced to stay there for no reason.””

“Ziyawudun changed her story again after being relocated to the US and cultivated by the US government-funded Uyghur Human Rights Project. This February, she told the BBC and CNN that she was gang raped by guards in an internment camp. 2019: SARS-CoV-2 [nCov-19]
The 2019 novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 [nCov-19], also known as the Wuhan coronavirus is a deadly, contagious virus, similar to SARS, that causes respiratory infection and is easily transmitted from human to human. It was first identified by authorities in Wuhan China. As of 19 February 2021, there were more than 110 million confirmed cases of infection globally, with at least 2.45 million recorded deaths.

2003: SARS
The Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome emerged in November 2002 in the southern Guangdong province.

Believed to be from bats, it was apparently transmitted to humans via civet cats sold for meat in wildlife markets.

Also a "coronavirus", so-named because of its crown-like appearance when seen under an electron microscope, SARS was highly contagious and caused acute and sometimes fatal pneumonia.
From early 2003 it caused major panic across Asia, mainly in China, Hong Kong and Singapore. The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 12 issued a global health alert.

-1957: Asian flu

As early as in November 2017, the Smithsonian Mag published a detailed report on the H7N9 epidemic where it asked its readers the question, “Is China Ground Zero for a Future Pandemic?” Three years later, the question appears to have been answered. President Trump’s trade czar, Peter Navarro, described China as a “disease incubator,” and that was before the outbreak of the Wuhan Coronavirus. Dr. Jennifer Huang Bouey, an epidemiologist and senior policy researcher at the RAND Corporation, said, “There is quite a fair amount of epidemics originating in China or passing through China.”

You've called the US a "backward, war criminal country" and condemned "the Nazi Republican Party" the Democratic Party and its "mouthpieces", the "Democracy Now and Huffington Post", accusing the "USA" as being "anti-Chinese" as well as "anti-Russian".

Then, in the same breath, you've expressed your admiration and praise for China: "The US is now a failed empire because it does not have socialized medicine and public power, so China is overtaking this backward country economically. China's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) grew by 2.3% in 2020 while the US GDP DECLINED by 2.5%, proving that you cannot have guns and butter."

At best you're a Chinese Communist Party sympathizer, or one of their poorly-trained agent provocators, at worst you have a far more sinister agenda.

For now, I give you the benefit of the doubt.

The question remains, however, what the heck are you still doing in this failed empire, risking your life and limbs and compromising your health and comfort each and every day?

If America is indeed as evil and nasty as you think/ pretend it is, in contrast to heavenly China, then why don't you move to that paradise to enjoy the fruits of the Chinese regime, instead of getting sicker living in this hellhole, while accusing everyone of racism, and foul-mouthing the "failed empire"?
