2 Stories Of Moving The World In A Few Hours
Henry Spira Changed The World In 5 Hours
Henry Spira took a course in Animal Liberation from Peter Singer and was ignited. Spira took a picture of an ape confined for months in a restraining chair at Bethesda Naval and took it to an international wire service called Black Star which sent it around the world. Indira Gandhi, Indian PM, saw the photo.. knew the US had violated the primate treaty, and cancelled primate export because Henry cared enough to reach a rreachable star.
He moved the world in 5 hours! Primates such as B43 (they could not give her a name, just a number) had been months restrained in the chair.. getting leg cramps, having to sleep, urinate, evacuate etc
in the chair... it was torture. B43 had tears in her eyes, but she could not
speak her pain.

University Attempts A Course In Rabbit Flesh
The Univ of Maryland had received several million $ from Frank Perdue to begin rabbit meat courses, one of which involved each student's raising a rabbit. The final day of the course each student was to kill his or her own rabbit. An unknown activist stole the rabbits. As a result, the rabbit meat course was ended, and perhaps Perdue gave up its plan to add rabbits to the list of most tortured animals.
Horrible Conditions For Slaughterhouse Workers
Slaughterhouse workers are kicked or bitten by terrified animals, injured by knives, by the cold environment, by slipping on the blood, urine and feces on the abbatoir floors. Slaughterhouses have perhaps the highest turnover rate of any industry, and employ the most noncitizens. Slaughterhouse owners such as JBS, Tyson, Smithfield intrinsically exploit the poorest and most powerless people in the US.
Should Meat Be Taxed?
Should meat, fish, eggs and dairy be taxed to help pay the cost of the cancer, heart disease, food poisoning, strokes, aneurisms, arthritis, kidney failure, ulcers, Alzheimer's, multiple sclerosis etc caused by eating cadaver foods derived by murder of innocents?
Should Food Stamps Be Switched To Fruit And Vegetable Stamps?
USDA food stamps should be changed to fruit and vegetable stamps. Vegan taxes subsidize the murder of
and slavery of powerless animals, at the same time that
meat food stamps cause human disease, climate change, deforestation, drought, energy waste etc.
