The moral ambiguity of Land Value Taxation as restorative justice

Location Details:

Participate in a teach-in deliberating the felicity and efficacy of a Land Value Tax (LVT) in achieving restorative justice in reference to the BLM movement.

We'll do this after participants previously watch the 1938 film "Little Tough Guy," which presents the frame of moral ambiguity for a policy such as LVT that would upend current vested interests to attain a long-term basis of justice.

The first half hour will be devoted to a review of the film, using a Dewey-inspired moral pragmatist lens.
The second half hour will be devoted to trying the moral ambiguities of surrendering current investments in land to achieve an enormously more equitable economic playing field for all demographics in the future.
