Shakespeare on Trump

As we enter the 6th week of quarantine due to Nazi Trump’s inexcusable delay in preparing for a pandemic which was known to be a threat in November 2019 , the benchmark of literature in the English language, Shakespeare's writings, teach us that Trump is not an aberration.

Meanwhile, the polls show that Trump has about 44% support among voters. That means about 60 million people claim to support Trump. (See https://projects.fivethirtyeight.com/trump-approval-ratings/) We can only conclude that Nazi Trump is not an aberration but as American as apple pie and we are living in a profoundly backward, barely literate, utterly reactionary society, especially among the white European descendants, not including this writer, who is also a white European descendant.

In San Francisco, Trump won 12,000 votes on March 3, 2020, down from the 27,000 votes he won in November 2016, but still horrifying. In California, he won about 2 million votes on March 3, 2020, out of perhaps 5 million voters in this primary election with the final count due April 24, 2020. Nazi Trump is barely literate, can hardly say an intelligent full sentence in the English language, and spends most of his time at his phony press conferences arguing with news reporters, who are a necessary link between the government and the public.
