Come along on a free walking tour of San Francisco social movement history featuring the economic liberation proposal Sun Yat-sen advocated in the Three Guiding Principles of the People.

Sun recognized the necessity of fundamental land reform policy in generating a just society, and the centerpiece of his program was the socialization of the market value of land. Sun bridged the chaotic chasm between socialism and private enterprise by refusing to lump land in with capital. Land is existentially distinguishable from human-made capital, and land's rental value is expressly a socially generated distillate.

On this tour, culminating in Sun's proposal, you'll follow the trail of multiple San Francisco social movements as they trace the theme of Land and Liberty.

Happy lunar New Year!
