Come along on a walking tour that explores San Francisco social movement history, and which accuses private ownership of land values in America as being racist in effect and in fact. The dispossession of native peoples of their native habitat, the reduction to chattel of coerced transportation of Africans to the Americas, and the enduring custom of requiring some human beings to pay land rent to a class of human beings called land owners is baldly elitist, definitively classist, and constructively racist.

Through an all-too-brief survey of several social movements--Black Liberation, LGBTQ Liberation, US post WW2 cultural liberation, the Mormon hegira, and Occupy Wall Street-- the walk moves towards a thesis that land value privatization constitutes the central place in identity politics dynamics.

In three blocks, progressing from China Town to the Financial District, the walk reaches climax in revisiting San Francisco's 1879 proposal to socialize all land values, honor labor by eliminating taxes on earned income, and disconnect class, race or other identity segmentation of society from land value ownership.

FREE, but distressing to socialists, libertarians, Democrats, Republicans, and everyone else. :-)
