APWU Postal Workers And Supporters Rally On "I Stand With Postal Workers" Day 5/14/15
American Postal Workers Union members and supporters rallied for a contract and against privatization on May 14, 2015 in San Francisco
American Postal Workers Union APWU members and other trade unionists and supporters rallied on May 14, 2015 and spoke out in San Francisco on a national day of action for a good contract. The APWU contract is expiring and the union called a national "I Stand With Postal Workers" day around the country. In San Francisco, teachers, CWA members and SEIU homecare workers joined the rally. Many talked about privatization and the attacks on all public workers around the country. Also workers talked about the effort to destroy the post office using the Staple stores.
