Owned and operated by Britain's government. Suppressing hard truths on issues mattering most.

Reporting what it wants viewers and listeners to know. UK-based Media Lens calls BBC "the most insidious propaganda outlet today."

Broadcasting worldwide. Proliferating Big Lies. Asking if it can "tell the truth…when its senior managers are appointed by the government." Subject to sacking if become too critical of its policies.

Consider how BBC editors and correspondents portray NATO. A US-led killing machine. Waging war on humanity.

Turning truth on its head claiming its mission is maintaining peace and security. Media Lens quoted BBC newsreader Sophie Raworth.

During NATO's September Wales summit. Saying "NATO leaders will have to try to tackle the growing threat of the Islamist extremists in Iraq and Syria, and decide what steps to take next."

Iraq war III followed. BBC suppressed information about America, Britain, France and other NATO countries using Islamic extremists as proxies. Foot soldiers.

BBC quoted former NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen's Big Lie.

Saying "(s)urrounded by an arc of crisis, our alliance, our transatlantic community, represents an island of security, stability and prosperity."

Truth is polar opposite. BBC didn't explain. US-led NATO is the world's leading perpetrator of violence. Waging imperial wars against humanity.

As Danish prime minister in the run-up to Bush's 2003 Iraq war, Rasmussen lied saying "Iraq has WMDs. It is not something we think. It is something we know."

BBC broadcasts this rubbish. Lots more like it. Substituting propaganda for real news, information and analysis. Spreading it worldwide 24/7.

Regurgitating official Washington/London pronouncements. Big Lies. "(T)o be swallowed wholesale by the public," said Media Lens.

Reporting nonexistent threats Western countries must contain. "(F)ollowing the ideological path laid down by US-UK state power," said Media Lens,

"(W)hile robotically claiming its reporting is 'balanced' and 'impartial.' "

Propaganda wars precede hot ones. Syria is in the eye of the storm. BBC's North America editor Jon Sopel ludicrously calls extremist Gulf states Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE and Qatar "moderate" Western allies.

"(S)tretch(ing) the term 'moderate' beyond the limits of credibility," said Media Lens. According to BBC security correspondent Frank Gardner:

"For Islamic State, the prospective benefits of Western troops engaging them on the ground are obvious."

"They would at last have a chance to fight soldiers at close quarters, with all the propaganda impact that would have on people in the West."

Media Lens responded saying:

"What was missing from Gardner's analysis, as usual, were the 'prospective benefits'of yet another Western-led attack in the Middle East."

"He made no attempt to address the longstanding US need for strategic control of the region's natural resources."

"Nor did (he) broach the 'propaganda impact' of White House, Pentagon and Downing Street manipulation of the public in its channelling of disinformation via compliant Western news media."

"(T)his is the norm. If any young aspiring BBC journalist were to demonstrate a dangerous tendency for questioning this norm, never mind defying it, then he or she would never get within visible range of the 'security' correspondent's exalted position."

Banishment entirely from BBC's airwaves would follow. Likely all other MSM ones.

Official accounts call imperial wars liberating ones. Mass slaughter and destruction are considered democracy-building.

So-called humanitarian intervention and responsibility to protect (R2P) mask ravaging and destroying one country after another.

When US-led NATO goes to war or plans one, BBC and other media scoundrels march in lockstep.

Big Lies make headlines. Propaganda substitutes for hard truths. Repeated ad nauseam. Journalism the way it should be is absent.

BBC no different from Fox News. Featuring lies. Damn lies. Big Lies. Presstitution standard fare. Truth "a revolutionary act in times of universal deceit," said Orwell.

Explaining "(t)hose who control the present control the future. Those who control the future control the past."

BBC and other media scoundrels control world news, information and analysis. Functioning as thought control police gatekeepers.

Sanitizing reports. Suppressing what people most need to know. The truth. The whole truth. Nothing but the truth.

Healthy democracies operate no other way. Fairness & Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR) once called Fox News "the most biased name in news."

"(W)ith its extraordinary right-wing tilt." So-called "fair and balanced, we report, you decide" is PR rubbish.

BBC operates the same way. With a British accent. Banishing full and accurate reporting from its airwaves. Substituting fiction for facts.

Weeks earlier, John Pilger asked "(w)hy has so much journalism succumbed to propaganda? Why are censorship and distortion standard practice?"

"Why is the BBC so often a mouthpiece of rapacious power? Why do the New York Times and the Washington Post deceive their readers?"

"Why are young journalists not taught to understand media agendas and to challenge the high claims and low purpose of fake objectivity?"

"(W)hy are they not taught that the essence of so much of what's called the mainstream media is not information, but power?"

At a time of possible "major war." Disastrous and then some if waged. Possibly nuclear. Targeting Russia. Eventually China. What's most important to know is ignored.

Vital truths suppresse. Humanity heads for the abyss. The same journalists hyping Big Lies ahead of ongoing and past wars are at it again.

BBC in the lead worldwide. Pilger saying "(t)he times we live in are so dangerous and so distorted in public perception that propaganda is no longer...an 'invisible government.' "

"It is the government. It rules directly without fear of contradiction and its principal aim is the conquest of us: our sense of the world, our ability to separate truth from lies."

"The information age is actually a media age. We have war by media; censorship by media; demonology by media; retribution by media; diversion by media - a surreal assembly line of obedient cliches and false assumptions."

A new 'reality.' " Based on Big Lies. Promoting what demands denunciation. The media is the message.

Regurgitating state-sponsored nonexistent threats. Manufactured out of whole cloth. Justifying might makes right. For geopolitical advantage. Regardless of appalling human cost.

Growing numbers of viewers, listeners and readers are catching on. Choosing alternative news and information sources.

Avoiding MSM lying machines. Imperial tools. Propaganda bullhorns for wealth, power and privilege.

On December 23, RT International headlined "Anonymous hold protest at BBC London HQ," saying:

"Activist group 'Anonymous'…accus(ed) (BBC) of 'biased' reporting and 'protecting pedophiles.' "

" '(F)ailing' to report important news…(F)abricating information…'(T)otally avoid(ing) telling the truth at times.' "

Employing known pedophiles. '(M)any more' still at large."

"The government…tell(s) you what to report or not, and this year has seen many stories go unreported or twisted to a government viewpoint," they explained.

Last September, hundreds of protestors raged against BBC's Scottish referendum coverage.

Denouncing what they called UK "bias (and) lies." Demanding BBC political editor Nick Robinson's sacking.

Accusing him and BBC of blatant bias for union. Gathering outside its Glasgow Pacific Quay offices.

Dressed in Yes T-shirts. Chanting "shame on you." Holding signs saying "Auntie Beeb, anti-democracy, anti-truth."

A giant banner reading: "Sack Nick 'The Liar' Robinson, a totally corrupt journalist, these days typical of the British Biased Corporation."

Mouthpiece of power. Propaganda bullhorn. Imperial tool. Betrayer of the public trust.

Substituting Big Lies for truth and full disclosure. Longstanding BBC tradition.
