SF SEIU 1021 Court Workers ULP Strike For Wage Increases And Against Workplace Bullying
San Francisco city courts were shut down in an unfair labor practices strike by workers on October 14, 2014. SEIU 1021 court workers have faced workplace bullying and wage cuts for years. The workers have previously picketed the courts for targeting of workers by managers over a clothing rule that was used arbitrarily to harass workers. The workers also said that they have had real wage freezes the past few years while managers and judges have continued to get raises. The workers said that the management refuses to negotiate for real wage increases after years of wage freezes and a real income decline.

San Francisco court workers who are members of SEIU 1021 on 2/20/14 protested systemic sexual harassmen and bullying by managers of the courts. They were joined by other city workers in San Francisco who face similar attacks.
