Abortion rights are in a state of emergency, and headed for disaster. Already, women in this country who cannot access safe abortions are attempting to self-abort by inserting sharp objects in their vaginas, taking pills, asking their boyfriends to beat them up, and more. Others are being forced to bear children they do not want. This is the future for women everywhere if this war on women is not massively resisted and defeated.

WE MUST ACT TO STOP THIS NOW!

In light of the emergency situation that abortion rights are in, people in major cities across the country who consider themselves to be “pro-choice” will be part of re-claiming the moral high ground around abortion rights, changing the terms of this debate, and joining in mass resistance to stop these attacks on women’s lives. On Friday, April 11 we will bring alive women's stories -- before Roe and today, the struggles of those who risk their lives to provide abortions, and the full anti-woman program driving this war on women. Come hear the stories we don't hear often enough, and be a part of bringing to light the morality of abortion and the immorality of those who oppose it. Bring your friends and others who care about the future of women, or who you think should understand the situation and what is at stake!
