Faith Petric, Activist/Folksinger/SF Icon, Dies at 98, Part 2
In September 2004, the FCC raided Free Radio Santa Cruz. In response to that raid, Faith Petric sang her own version of "Turn Your Radio On" at a benefit concert to help get the station sailing the airwaves again.

and scroll down to first audio: From 20 min to 28 min Faith Petric sings "Turn Your Radio On" and other songs at a fundraiser for pirate radio station in Santa Cruz, recorded by frequent indybay contributor Bradley.
Faith, as a member of the Raging Grannies, sang a song that raised an uproar at the Green Festival in 2006. "The Rapture" calls out the religious right for ignoring global warming, poverty, and war because they will be SAVED during the Rapture. Some members of the audience tried to tell the Grannies to cool the atheist sentiment, but Faith would have none of it! Here is video of that song by Bill Carpenter, indybay contributor. Bill recorded it as the group rehearsed outside the festival side entrance. Faith is on guitar in light colored t-shirt https://www.indybay.org/newsitems/2006/11/23/18332598.php#18332599
Also by Bill Carpenter same date/same cast: "Will the Web of Life Be Broken" to tune of "Will the Circle be Unbroken".
