Join Bay Area Tibetans, their supporters and local representatives including SF Supervisor John Avalos and Richmond Mayor Gayle McLaughlin for a full day of action and intention calling for an end to the worsening human rights crisis in Tibet. Nearly 60 Tibetans have self-immolated since 2009.

The Bay Area will be the final North American stop for the Flame of Truth torch relay as it completes a 21-city tour of the continent, part of an international relay launched by the Tibetan Parliament-in-Exile from Dharamsala, India. The day will include a march to the Chinese Consulate, a bike rally to the Golden Gate Bridge, an interfaith prayer and much more.
