Oakland author, Terry Bisson will discuss his new novel, Any Day Now, an "alternate history" of the emerging radicalized counterculture of the 1960s in which things turn out--let us say, differently.
The author describes his book as “not exactly science fiction; and not exactly not….a sort of an alternate history of 1968.”
Terry Bisson's works include award winning science fiction, biographies of Nat Turner and Mumia Abu Jamal, an "alternate history" of the Civil War in which John Brown's raid is a smashing success.
He currently hosts a monthly author series in San Francisco called SF in SF. Books will be available for sale and the author will sign copies.
