UNITED IN ANGER: A HISTORY OF ACT UP chronicles the last successful social movement in the United States from the perspective of those who made it happen. ACT UP - the AIDS Coalition to Unleash Power, was born in New York City in 1988 and quickly spread around the world. Producer, activist and author Sarah Schulman explains how this small group of people organized to save each other's lives and change the world. HIV prevention activist Cyd Nova shares the perspective of a younger generation of queers who have been waiting a lifetime for a movie like this.
