Bank Occupation, police scuffle, and arrests
Students, activists and supporters held a rally and march in San Francisco to protest the planned increase of tuition.
Student's, activist's, and supporter's marched through the streets to protest the planned increase of tuition at CSU campuses. Behind closed door's the UC Regents voted 9-6 to raise tuition yet again. The march wound through the financial district briefly stopping at entities owned by the Regents. Protesters also stormed the Bank of America on 50 California street and began to occupy it. They also set up a tent. Meanwhile outside the bank a scuffle between protesters occurred. There were no injuries. At least 60 people were arrested inside the bank.
