G Street Destruction
City of Fresno sanitation workers were sent to the homeless encampment on G street today where they destroyed several peoples shelters. The following series of photos documents the destruction of one tent in the G street encampment. The destruction led to a confrontation where a group of homeless men (left) told the city workers to leave their homes alone (photo below).
The series of photos below illustrates that the City of Fresno were taking and immediately destroying homeless peoples property. If a judge agrees that the city is in violation of the Federal Court Order ( see: http://www.aclunc.org/cases/closed_cases/asset_upload_file890_8469.pdf ), a Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) could be issued to stop further attacks against the homeless and their property.
