On-air, From New York, Narco News on the Expert Witness Radio Show

by Anonymous
This Week’s Show: Mexico, the CIA and Fast and Furious
The Expert Witness Radio Show, broadcast on Pacifica Radio out of New York City and across the Internet, is airing a special segment on ATF’s Fast and Furious gun-running boondoggle and its connections to the pending US criminal case against Mexican Sinaloa “Cartel” leader Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla.

Former deep undercover DEA agent Mike Levine, host of the radio show, along with producer and co-host Mark Marshall, and Narco News correspondent Bill Conroy spend an hour on-air digging into the details of the US government’s missteps in the convergent cases.

Accused Sinaloa narco-trafficker Zambada contends the cartel’s leadership was offered an immunity deal by the US government extending back to the Bush administration in exchange for informing on rival drug cartels, a charge that US prosecutors deny even as they seek to invoke national security claims to prevent evidence in Zambada’s case from surfacing in public court records.

The radio show focuses heavily on Narco News’ ongoing coverage of ATF’s controversial Fast and Furious — which allegedly allowed a couple thousand deadly weapons to be transported into Mexico unimpeded — and that operation’s suspected links to covert US intelligence activities and the Zambada criminal case.

In addition to airing on Pacifica Radio station WBAI, 99.5 FM, in New York on Tuesday evenings during prime cabbie drive time [Midnight to 1 am], Expert Witness Radio also is available via podcast through an RSS feed, or through iTunes, and can be found on Facebook.
