by Carol Brouillet (cbrouillet [at] igc.org)
Dr. Paul W. Rea, author of Mounting Evidence: Why We Need a New 9/11 Investigation, will be speaking on the Community Currency radio show this Thursday. Paul Rea has been an activist academic, educating students about subjects such as "The Politics of the Nuclear Age" and educating the public through a regular monthly film and speaker series in Fremont. He has spent nearly a decade researching 9/11 and this is his second work on the subject. Dr. Paul Rea will also be speaking at the Herbst Theatre in Part II of the 9/11 Reclaiming the Truth, Reclaiming Our Future events, the annual 9/11 Truth Film Festival and a benefit for the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance.

Hear Dr. Paul Rea, on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 2- 3 pm on the Community Currency radio show on the Progressive Radio Network.

Dr. Paul W. Rea has taught humanities at Ohio State University, University of Colorado, and St. Mary’s College of California. He has taught "Science, Technology, and Human Values" at St. Mary's College in Moraga, CA. Now a full-time writer/ researcher, he focuses on peace and environmental issues. An earlier book, Still Seeking the Truth about 9/11, marked Dr. Rea’s initial foray into that pivotal subject. Paul has just completed an updated, much-expanded overview of the issues surrounding 9/11 in his new book Mounting Evidence: Why We Need a New Investigation of 9/11 which will include The Zealots of Dominance:The Neocon Factor in 9/11, specifically looking at the mindset of those involved with the Project for a New American Century. His new book reflects six years of additional research. When it appears later this month, it will be the most comprehensive book available on the different facets of the 9/11 issue.

Paul will be one of the featured speakers at the upcoming tenth anniversary 9/11: Reclaiming the Truth, Reclaiming the Future, the annual 9/11 Truth Film Festival and benefit for the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance to be held in San Francisco at the historic Herbst Theatre on September 11, 2011 (Part One will be held at the Grand Lake Theater on September 8, 2011).

Paul is an active member of the Northern California 9/11 Truth Alliance and has spoken before at conferences and film festivals. His book is directed at the general public and is written in an engaging, accessible manner, although it is quite lengthy. He has managed to digest a voluminous amount of information into a very lively rich narrative which is hard to put down, even for those who are already familiar with the subject.

Community Currency is hosted by Carol Brouillet, a longtime activist who organized three conferences on Strategies to Transform the Global Economy and (the first) marches on her Senators and Congresswoman in January 2002 to Demand a Congressional Investigation of 9-11. She publishes the Deception Dollars, and Co-Founded the 9-11 Truth Alliance, and the Northern California 9-11 Truth Alliance . She organized premieres of films, educational events, marches, rallies for 9-11 Truth, the San Francisco International Inquiry into 9-11, and produced the film Behind Every Terrorist- There is a Bush. She is also a mother of three boys and held a weekly Listening Project in downtown Palo Alto from October 2001 to October 2007, now she holds it once a month on the 11th, in solidarity with other 9/11 Truth activists worldwide.
