More on Glen Cove: http://protectglencove.org/
Sogorea Te, or Glen Cove, near Vallejo, CA, is a sacred gathering place and burial ground that has been utilized by numerous Native American tribes since at least 1,500 BC. Today, Glen Cove continues to be spiritually important to local Native communities, but the city of Vallejo wants to turn it into a park with playgrounds, parking lots, bathrooms, etc.

The city's plans would do irreparable harm to Glen Cove, which is why the local Native community has been outspoken in its opposition to the plans. Come on out to El Rio and support the folks occupying Glen Cove to stop construction from going forward.
