Coming Home To Roost
A picture from our protest in Sacramento looked kind of familiar
a few week back we took Arnieville a tent city we lived in as a protest against proposed budget cuts to Sacramento. one of the pictures that came out of that day looked really familiar.
Just like a photo from the beginning of the Iraqi war.
During Arnieville (The longest protest by a disabled group in U.S. history) we had a benefit concert with Country Joe Mcdonald. Osha Nuemann spoke about a murder that was commited only 100 feet away from where we were camping. Osha talked about how the violence that we tolerate all over the world is coming closer and closer. Looking at these two photos together kind of brings his words in focus.
