106.9 Community Radio Benefit a Roaring Success!

As the sounds of 106.9 Radio blared into the hot summer night, bands raged at the Tower Bar. The Array Orchestra, Vaginals, Beatless and Mermaid serenaded the crowd of community radio supporters. Fun was had by all and much cash was raised for the DIY radio effort!

Radio 106.9 is a DIY radio station just starting out. It aims to provide the community with an unbiased voice. The benefit show, which took place on August 25th, was the station's first public event.
