STUDENTS OCCUPY FRESNO STATE
Hundreds of students from Fresno State and a wide variety of surrounding public education institutions marched through the streets of Fresno followed by rally of five-hundred plus. The rally and march were in protest of the massive budget cuts to social services in the State of California from which public education institutions are by no means immune.
At the conclusion of the rally dozens of students chose occupy the Joyal Administration building at Fresno State to protest the continual privatization of education. The students are currently occupying the office of VP of student affairs and have plans to rename the building Marvin X Hall.
