EcoTuesday, a unique, structured monthly networking event for sustainable business leaders held concurrently in eight cities across the country, will feature David Pascal, President of Carbon Collaborative, as the speaker at the first EcoTuesday of 2010 in San Francisco.

Come and introduce yourself to a roomful of professionals!

At this event, David will discuss the difference between the clean tech boom relative to other innovation cycles, explain the political and social barriers to success for clean tech companies and provide insight about how companies can work with local governments to get market traction.

More info on David here: http://3bl.me/sbymex

David Pascal was most recently the Clean Tech and Green Business Advocate for the City and County of San Francisco. His time was split between the Mayor's Office of Economic and Workforce Development and the City's Department of the Environment. In that capacity, Mr. Pascal was responsible for attracting and retaining companies whose products and services address our greatest environmental challenges. Prior to entering the government sector, Mr. Pascal was working as an environmental sustainability consultant and served as the Director of Events and Entertainment for Al Gore's Alliance for Climate Protection.

EcoTuesday is committed to changing the way people do business. The monthly event provides a structured environment where sustainable business leaders network with one another and gain insight from industry thought-leaders and trendsetters. Everyone in the room quickly learns about everyone else during the "introduction circle". EcoTuesday.com connects participants between events, serves as a hub for conversations and showcases local businesses.

The vision of EcoTuesday is for business people to share ideas and collaborate so that companies develop products and services that have a positive impact on the marketplace and planet.
