Sophie Maxwell the Supervisor from District 10 has been served her notice to be RECALLED.

Sophie Maxwell came into power some eight years plus ago because of ploys and machinations mostly led by the then Mayor Willie L. Brown Jr.

Since then Sophie Maxwell has filled her personal coffers, worked with Big Developers and harmed small developers, small businesses, youth and schools, our children and their health and safety, our seniors, - and condoned several serious issues that have poisoned our children and elders.

Sophie Maxwell is very fortunate that she was not RECALLED a long time ago. Some of the reasons why Sophie Maxwell aka Sophina Maxwell will be recalled are:

1. Sophie has not addressed the economic out-migration and displacement of low income people.
Sophie has favored Gang Injunctions, absenteeism in Bayview Public Schools, high eviction
rates of low-income families and the growing unemployment disparities of District 10
constituents. Today, District 10 has over forty five percent unemployment.

2. One of the promises made by Sophie Maxwell way back in 2000 was to clean up the Hunters
Point Naval Shipyard to the highest standard - mandated by Proposition P in the year 2000 by
eighty seven percent of the constituents of San Francisco. Today, Sophie Maxwell has
favored CAPPING of the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard and this is wrong.

3. At Parcel A a rogue developer, LENNAR has poisoned our children and elders with toxic dust,
particulates, radiological elements, and Asbestos Structures, and more. Sophie Maxwell has
sided with entities and regulatory agencies to favor dubious ploys and turned her back on
constituents of District 10.

4. The San Francisco School Board and the SF Youth Commission unanimously voted in
favor to temporarily shut down the operations at Parcel A and test the constituents, especially
those living near Parcel A. We the people want to know the affects of Chromium and other
such very toxic elements - that have adversely impacted thousands of innocent constituents,
living in and around the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard.

The RECALL process is a tedious process and this RECALL has been initiated as a last resort to bring some fairness and expose the corrupt. Of course in this case - the person in question is Sophie Maxwell.

Now, that Sophie Maxwell has accepted the Recall Notice she has ten days to reply to the issues that have been stated above. The reason above are not exactly as has been printed on the RECALL PETITION but the reasons stated above - gives the reader a gist of what the constituents want addressed and which have not been addressed.

Anyone can go to the SF Department of Elections at City Hall and read the exact language.

Constituents from the Bayview Hunters Point, Potrero Hill, Potola District, Visitation Valley, Little Hollywood, Candlestick Point and that includes Alice Griffith - have been educated on the issues that Sophie Maxwell with intent failed to address. Thousands of innocent people have suffered because of the dubious actions and machinations - initiated by Sophie Maxwell.

The State Law states that once the District Supervisor is removed from office - the Mayor can appoint another candidate as Supervisor for the remaining term of the office. There is no need for a election. The only expense incurred is the removal of the present District 10 Supervisor - who really should have been removed a long time ago.

The Mayor should be prudent is choosing a successor and one who is educated on issues.

If the Mayor chooses not to do so - we will remove from office any undesirable Supervisor that fails to adjudicate fairly - the pressing issues facing the constituents of the Bayview Hunters Point, Portola District, Potrero Hill, Little Hollywood, Candlestick Point, Visitation Valley - the entire District 10.

The San Francisco Register of Voters has accepted the Recall Petition.

The language has to meet the standards set by the State of California and approved by the Secretary of State. This has been met and God willing - we can collect the 4000 or so signatures and remove, some one that has been a obstacle to progress.

Sophie Maxwell could have stayed and left her office without a bitter taste in the mouth of thousands. Sophie Maxwell did not - she chose to defy the constituents.

Sophie Maxwell with intent cooperated with a Big Rogue Developer - LENNAR, and slowly poisoned our children, our elders, and many others that have weak immune systems and are innocent. These segments of the affected population are suffering and Sophie Maxwell has not said a word.

This recall pursuant to Section 11020, California Election Code as of today has met all the legalities to remove from office Sophina Maxwell.
