K.S. Rhoads will be in San Francisco on December 2nd, playing at The Independent with the Ten Out of Tenn Tour.
K.S. Rhoads is an amazingly unique artist from Nashville and is the Musical Director of the Ten Out of Tenn Tour that he is on. He is a very lyrical, almost author-esque artist. Leonard Cohen meets Tom Waits meets Beck. Rhoads has the ability to capture an author, maestro and performer all in one. He writes with such passion and with fantastic imagery in a way of story telling such as F. Scott Fitzgerald did.
His new album Dead Language achieved success by carving out its own singular sound in the worlds of rock, Southern blues, great American song, Folk, Hip hop and Pop. Bet you didn’t think you could fit that all in one sound? There are inspired touches and disarmingly beautiful passages in this mysterious, stylistically eclectic album.
