Just before Bush left office they had created an artificial crisis that really did not exist.
Congress was terrorized into it and the STOCK MARKET is going to keep going up and up.
They create a crisis and then they create a solution. The solution was for the American taxpayers to give all the money to the Federal Reserve.

Sat Oct 31 Halloween in the CASTRO! 2 years ago they closed this party due to violence. Last year they did not close it.
Last year thousands showed up. This year expect 10 or 20 thousand! BEST COSTUMES EVER! ok this is what I thought because I had heard no shutdown plans.
But this year finally I am hearing 5% as much PR as the city put out 2 years ago about they shut it down, so:
If you get there early and the streets are not closed to vehicles, then:
Do not jaywalk, and do not consume alcohol in public.
2 years ago they closed it. 1 year ago half the folks came back. This year most all the folks will come back.
Well that's what I thought until I heard that: SF is not allowing it this year, wherein:
Jaywalking and alcohol consumption in public will be cited. So we shall see...

“Old SF Mint Coin Show” in the Old U.S. Mint SF Nov 6-7 10 am to 6pm. $5 5th and Mission SF http://www.griffincoin.com
Why am I posting this? To encourage you to own GOLD and SILVER so you are less vulnerable to currency devaluation. Obama is printing money and sinking the dollar.
Every dollar is now worth less. An ounce of gold was worth $20 100 years ago. Today an ounce of gold is worth $1000. The dollar has lost 95% of it's value in 100 years.

Animal Place ThanksLiving - Celebrate the Turkeys November 14, 12:00 - 3:00 pm
Adults: $40/adult Children younger than 12: $20/child The event will be at the Vacaville sanctuary.
Join us for a day of celebration, honoring the turkeys at the sanctuary and remembering the ones who aren't so lucky to find safe haven. Turtle Island Foods and Field Roast have once again generously donated the main course, Tofurky and Field Roasts, and Hansen has donated beverages. Desserts will be served by Sugar Plum Vegan - they are quite delectable! Traditional side dishes will also be included. Most importantly, this is your opportunity to feed the turkeys and chickens a feast they look forward to every year!
Jennifer Fearing of http://HSUS.org will be speaking, sharing insight on ways we can all help animals, the success of Proposition 2, and the future of the animal protection movement. Kim Sturla, executive director, will also be speaking. There will be much good food and fun to be had.
There will be a silent auction, all benefiting the sanctuary!

Ken Cook is coming to San Francisco - Environmental Working Group - http://ewg.org
EWG is coming to the Commonwealth Club San Francisco next month to present our just-updated version of 10 Americans -- the presentation called An Inconvenient Truth for environmental health.
An unprecedented coalition is pushing for a tough new bill to prevent our families from being exposed to toxic chemicals. Environmental Working Group is leading the charge. Please join us at the Commonwealth Club San Francisco on Monday, November 2 as EWG President Ken Cook reveals the startling results of a landmark EWG study of chemical pollution in our bodies -- and presents for the first time what we found when we tested 10 more Americans for BPA, rocket fuel, artificial fragrances and hundreds of other industrial chemicals.
Click here to RSVP with the Commonwealth Club.
San Francisco's Commonwealth Club is the first stop on EWG's "10 More Americans" tour, as we unveil our updated presentation -- a new and powerful tool in the campaign to create a modern safety net for toxic chemicals.
For the first time in a generation, reform is on the horizon. Come find out how these 10 Americans were contaminated and learn what you can do to promote healthy families, homes and communities.
WHAT: "10 More Americans": "An Inconvenient Truth" for Environmental Health
WHEN: Monday, November 2 5:30 p.m. reception :: 6:00 p.m. program
WHERE: Commonwealth Club Blue Room, Club Office 595 Market St., 2nd Floor SF, CA 94105
COST: $15 for general admission $7.50 for students FREE for Commonwealth Club members
