San Francisco Labor Council backs Lennar and SB 792 without consent from fellow members.

The San Francisco Labor Council has failed San Franciscans on many levels. Its leader Tim Paulson is in bed with Mayor Gavin Newsom because the Mayor can facilitate " wheeling and dealing" that the inept leadership of the SF Labor Council has fallen prey to in recent years.

How can the past leaders and Walter Johnson and others stand by and permit such blatant nonsense to go on. Some one must speak about the despicable actions and hoodwinking taking place that has adversely affected the Labor Movement and what is more San Francisco that is a Union City.

This is a Union City but judging from the lack of participation by the SF Labor Council and its members in many of the key events of importance to safe guard Unions and Unions concerns - the SF Labor Council and its present leader has failed - miserably.

At the Appropriations Committee in Sacramento I heard Tim Paulson who is on the take and has received more then $500,000 from Lennar support Senate Bill 792. The world knows about the dubious links to Proposition G and now Senate Bill 792 and the connected wheeling and dealing behind close door with Tim Paulson holding the bag and selling out the community at large.

Tim Paulson and the SF Labor Council has not come to the community and held one meaningful meeting linked to California Senate Bill 792. The many members of the San Francisco Labor Council better take notice of the present leadership that is selling out the community and do something about it.

SF Labor has aligned itself with corrupt corporations like Lennar that make promises and do not keep them. Lennar promised to build 10,000 homes at Mare Island and did not. Ten years later had nothing to show - Lennar declared bankruptcy adversely affecting Vallejo City.

Lennar wasted billions of dollars of CALPERS money that the SF Labor Council has not taken notice of. Of course Tom Paulson would not know about LandSource and the shady dealings involved with Lennar in the failed project in Southern California.

Lennar is a Rogue Developer that poisoned our children and the SF Labor Council and Tim Paulson has not said a word about the children and elders suffering in the Bayview Hunters Point. It is a shame that the other Unions have NOT taken the SF Labor Council to task.

Every time I see Tim Paulson he is making deals at City Hall. Recently, I saw him with Mayor Gavin Newsom and some other National Labor Leader taking about Health Reform which he, Mayor Gavin Newsom, and the Labor Leaders that spoke know very little about.

Earlier these so called Labor Leaders that represent themselves and have failed this Nation - had met the corrupt Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi in private on the National Health Program. Nancy has been meeting corporate leaders and business crooks behind close doors and at events charging hundreds of dollars to listen to diatribe and utter nonsense. Nancy, jumped on the Public Health Option but now finds that she made a big mistake.

The White House now really has no clear policy how it is going to tackle National Health Care. The Public Option is easily said then done. Why would the thirty percent of so folks that enjoy good health services and pay for it - come under some Public Model of Health that right now is a mess?

Medicare is a program that needs drastic change but Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom and Tim Paulson would not know that. Some one says something and the fools pander to gossip without doing their home work and what is more not understanding the fundamental issues - and then all of them, start taking from both sides of their mouth. It all stems from so called leaders that are NOT educated on issues.

Gone are the days that most educated people will listen to idiots like Gavin Newsom, Nancy Pelosi, and now joining them Tom Paulson. You jerks have not a clue about the present National Health System and less about any model that can embrace the Nation and offer a comprehensive sound health system in the future.

The White House started saying something about National Health Care issues and is now confused. Soon, they will pander to anyone from the Right that will support some portion of their fake model and jeopardize the enter Health System further - just to pass some Bill that will not go too far.

Very few understand the "clout" of the insurance companies and if some fundamental agreement is not reached with these insurance companies - all will be for naught. Gavin Newsom and Tim Paulson have no clue about the "trigger" principle and how insurance companies can make or break a deal. Yet, they want to hoodwink the public into believing that they know something about Health Care when they know nothing and have no influence whatsoever in local and National matters pertaining to health models and operations.

Back to Senate Bill 792 where Tim Paulson testified that Lennar would build 10,500 homes and help San Francisco in Sacramento. Lennar will not build one single dog house in San Francisco. Lennar is into Land Banking and will default. In fact Lennar has defaulted on Parcel A according to the signed Disposition and Development Agreement.

However, San Francisco Labor Council and the inept, corrupt Tim Paulson is going with the flow not exposing the Rogue Developer - just because Lennar has lined Tim Paulson's pockets. Shame on the SF Labor Council.

The San Francisco Labor Council is a disgrace and I have watched them over the recent years back entities that fail the general public and as I stated above - backing corrupt politicians that talk from both side of their mouth. Nancy Pelosi is a disgrace to anything decent and has no clue when she backs a Public Health Option that she knows little about.

On Health Reform those in the know - full comprehend that the Public Option is not a good model. It sounds good but given the unique factors in the United States we just cannot permit the Government to take over our Health System and adversely impact those that today have some sound health system.

To understand better our health system one has to be educated on issues. I can vouch that Tim Paulson and the inept Mayor, Gavin Newsom does not understand the fundamental issues linked to the "trigger" factors linked to any sound National Health System - that is being tweaked but still needs the support of both the Republicans and the Democrats to go some little ways.

Mayor Gavin Newsom is backing a Rogue Developer to take over Candlestick Recreation Area - land that comes under the Public Trust Act. Land that belongs to all Californians as are all State Parks. And backing the idiotic Mayor, Gavin Newsom is Tim Paulson - a shady character.

Gavin Newsom has promised Lennar over 980 acres and is backed by corrupt people like Tim Paulson and a corrupt organization like the present San Francisco Labor Council and its present leadership. Where is Walter Johnson on this one? Where are the other so called SF Labor Council former leaders?

Some union leaders have taken on the SF Labor Council but they have not taken the SF Labor Council to task and exposed the blatant corruption. Today, the SF Labor Council is in bed with Big Developers and corrupt politicians and this is crying shame.

San Francisco is a Union City and the present San Francisco Labor Council and its present leadership has failed the Unions and San Franciscans.

I have been in the Union all my life and never would have thought that scum bag San Francisco Labor Council would be in bed with the most nefarious Big Developers and corrupt, spineless politicians the likes of Nancy Pelosi and Gavin Newsom.

Now, how about the other Unions fighting for the people and for what is right.

Down with Senate Bill 792 and it recent amendments to take over 22 acres of Candlestick Recreation Area to give to Lennar who is ready to pay $1 million per acre.

On the side line Tim Paulson is waiting for his cut and so are the other sell outs that most people are afraid to write about and expose.
