Why Are Internment Camps Being Built
http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c2009/cbarchive_20090811.html
The Internet is abuzz with news about the construction of in-
ternment camps all across America. Of course, mainstream
media outlets refuse to touch the subject.
For starters, all anyone need do to begin a serious investi-
gation of the subject of internment camps is Google the
phrase "FEMA Camps".
Another link to see is from the June 2009 Idaho Observer:

GAS Leaf blowers Cause: Petrochemical Pollution (smog) + Particulate pollution + Noise

Electric Blowers still disturb the dust. We then Breathe that Dust. That dust contains:
Chemicals and Lawn ferilizers that cause CANCER. Lawn chemicals contain estrogen mimickers / endocrine disruptors.
Street auto pollution dust includes: asbestos, petro chemicals, toxins, lead, PCBs, Heavy Metals, all chemicals that land on ground.

Leaves belong on the ground. Worms eat leaves and poop them out as Nitrogen rich soil.
Removal of leaves causes dry sterile cracking clay ground. This causes trees to die in droughts; Fire Hazard.

All leafblowers kill. BAN LEAFBLOWERS

Media Floats Talking Point That Gun Owners Are Domestic Terrorists
Southern Poverty Law Center report says growing militia movement portends domestic terror attack, despite the fact that the government itself was behind every domestic terror attack in the 1990's
The establishment media and the Southern Poverty Law Center are again floating the talking point that militia groups and worried gun owners are growing in the United States and that this could portend a violent act of domestic terror, despite the fact that every major domestic terror attack in the 1990’s was carried out by the federal government itself, from Ruby Ridge, to Waco, to the Oklahoma City bombing.

why obama is a piece of shit (from http://e360.yale.edu/content/digestlist.msp
12 AUG 2009: OBAMA ADMINISTRATION OKAYS
MAJOR MOUNTAINTOP REMOVAL COAL PROJECT
After vowing to crack down on the controversial practice of leveling the tops of Appalachian mountains to get at the coal seams below, the Obama administration has quietly approved a major mountaintop removal project in West Virginia. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has approved the issuance of a Clean Water Act permit for CONSOL Energy’s Peg Fork Surface Mine, an 817-acre project that would permanently bury nearly three miles of Appalachian streams in mining debris. The Peg Fork mine was one of six mountaintop removal projects that Obama’s EPA initially said it opposed because “they all would result in significant adverse impacts to high-value streams.” Environmental groups criticized the administration for failing to carry through on its pledge to crack down on mountaintop removal, with a Sierra Club official expressing disappointment that the EPA failed to “adopt new regulations or policies that would end this destructive practice.” Mountaintop removal mines in Appalachia have destroyed more than 1,500 square miles of forests and buried more than 800 miles of streams in debris.

Jack into the Bay Area's Alternative Economy w/ Heather Young
An alternative economy is emerging that’s run by people like you and I. And it’s built to serve us, unlike that other f@%$! economy. The way to make it real is to begin transacting on its platforms and using its currencies. And we must begin our withdrawal from the platforms and currencies that steal our health and wealth. This month’s Abundance League is designed to help us do just that.
Heather Young is an alternative economic organizer and has been an environmental and social justice activist for over a decade. She will be discussing the many ways we can create this economy together right now in a more loving, abundant, just and sustainable way here in the Bay Area. She’ll give us an overview of the movement in the Bay Area and share it’s various projects including:
-Bay Area Community Exchange – a network of alternative currency projects in the Bay Area, including a time exchange project that is in trial phase.
-The Really Really Free Market – an event that demonstrates a pure gift economy in SF and over 50 other cities in the US and around the world.
-JASecon (Just Alternative Sustainable economy) – an all volunteer organization that aims to tie together and synergize all the different aspects of the alternative economy and to host a grassroots economic festival/conference on Sept. 26 in Oakland.
-Plus Neighborhood Vegetables and others.

2009 BLACK ROCK CITY PLAN
We received a great deal of feedback critical of the expanded size of the
2008 city, so it's "deja vu all over again" as we return to nearly the same,
smaller footprint of 2007, in the same BLM-mandated location of the Black
Rock Desert. The distance from the inner-most road to the Man is down from
2700 to just 2100 feet, so a hop, skip, and a jump should get you from theme
camp Esplanade frontage to the Man.

Empire store update from the Org: the store in the town of Empire
near our event is currently a shadow of it's former self, due to a
sudden and unexpected change in management some months ago.

Sep 5,6,7 SF Mime Troupe in Dolores Park, 1:30 music, 2pm show http://www.sfmt.org
http://www.globalexchange.org/getInvolved/bayarea.php 50TH SEASON!

Bird Walk and White-crowned Sparrow Work party Sept 12
8am-Optional bird walk with Josiah Clark and other SF birders meet at bison paddock, visit chain of lakes and learn about both resident and migrant birds of the area.
9am-return to paddock at JFK for planting of coastal scrub plants.
Project Background and significance:
The Bison Paddock is a noteworthy historical and interpretive point of interest in Golden Gate Park. This location is noteworthy to birders and naturalists as it holds the last sizeable nesting population of Nutall’s White-crowned Sparrows in Golden Gate Park, a characteristic and recently declining species. This local, non-migratory population of the species sings song dialects unique to San Francisco as studied by Cal Academy’s Nobel nominated ornithologist, the late Louis Baptista. This is also the most open area of the park that is not a playing field.
Currently devoid of plantings, opportunities exist all around the edges of the bison enclosure (but especially in the strip along JFK) to increase nesting habitat for this vulnerable bird species. Efforts will likely significantly increase the breeding population of the species in this area. The Bison Paddock site receives lots of visitors so the process can be observed and appreciated by the visiting public.
Unlike the Presidio or NAP habitat stewardship, Golden Gate Park has no budget, no infrastructure nor special staff to deal with habitat related opportunities. It was said to me by staff recently, "without volunteers these projects cannot happen".
I can say with confidence this project will create significant habitat increases in 2-3 years, especially considering this area gets regular watering. We will see major increases in bird and insect diversity and abundance. The whole process will be highly visible for the public. It will even be audible in the unique dialects of our very special White-crowned Sparrows.
This is just one example of what is possible now in Golden Gate Park. Stay tuned for habitat restoration workdays specialized for birders and naturalists in the world famous Golden Gate Park! We will have scopes out and take the opportunity to observe and learn about birds, butterflies and other fauna that present themselves as we work to improve their habitat. Other potential wildlife habitat enhancement sites include Lloyd Lake and North Lake. Really hope to see you there. Please spread this to interested parties to gain support for this ecologically significant movement, as we showcase remaining habitat enhancement and native wildlife in our urban parks. Details:
Where: Golden Gate Park, Bison Paddock along JFK
When: Optional Birdwalk: 8am
Planting and Workday: 9am-12:30pm
Snack provided (and hopefully lunch too)
Volunteer liability waivers must be filled out before working.
Liam O'brien will lead an optional butterfly walk at the end of the day.
Bring: Binoculars if you have them, water bottle, work clothes
Thanks! Josiah Clark, Consulting Ecologist (415) 317 3978
