Kick off the start of the Feisty Feminist Theory Series, where different trends of women’s liberation are analyzed and evaluated, with an overview of liberal or reformist feminism, and radical feminism which includes lesbian separatism. Can female emancipation be won through the courts and legislature? Is biology destiny? Bring your thoughts about early feminist ideas and how they apply to today’s struggles.

A hearty dinner with vegetarian option is served before the meeting at 6:15pm for a $7.50 donation to help with fundraising. The event will be held at New Valencia Hall, 625 Larkin St., #202, San Francisco (located five blocks from Civic Center BART, and on or near #19, 31, 38, 47, & 49 Muni bus lines).
