FLA Mexico rescues hens; in memory of Barry Horne

"Prepared and determined activists of the Frente de Liberación Animal - Comando Verde Negro (FLA-CVN) took to the streets November 5 to remember the struggle and fight of our compañero Barry Horne.

We had been thinking about visiting another target when suddenly a truck that was transporting chickens for slaughter was ahead of us. Inside a building the killers were crowding animals into small boxes to later bring them to a certain death; in a spontaneous action, in anger, not caring whether we were discovered, we quickly snatched from the truck 8 hens and carried them to freedom.

With this liberation and other acts of sabotage throughout this year of direct action in Mexico, we showed the exploiters that the struggle of our fellow fighter Barry has not ceased and that on the contrary it is increasing.

"Preparadxs y elegantes activistas del Frente de Liberación Animal - Comando Verde Negro (FLA-CVN) salimos a las calles el pasado 5 de Noviembre a recordar la activa y combatiente lucha del compañero Barry Horne.

Teníamos pensado visitar otro objetivo cuando de repente un camión que se dedica a transportar gallinas al matadero estaba delante de nosotrxs, dentro de una casa estaban lxs asesinxs amontonando a los animales en pequeñas cajas para después llevarlas a una muerte segura, rápidamente, con la rabia en pleno auge, sin importar que fuéramos descubiertxs y en una acción espontanea, arrebatamos del camión a 8 gallinas llevándolas a su libertad.

Con esta liberación animal y demás actos de sabotaje durante todo este año de acciones directas en México demostramos a lxs explotadorxs que la lucha del compañero de combate Barry no ha cesado y que por el contrario va en aumento.
