Political activist and author Michael Parenti will give a talk titled, “Capitalism’s Apocalypse: Why the Plutocrats Cannot Save Anyone, Not Even Themselves.” This event is in conjunction with the current exhibition in the NoneSuch Space, collage and photographs by journalist and Bay Area activist Maria Gilardin (“Toasting the End of Capitalism”) on display through August 23rd, 2008 (this is a closing reception event).

Donations for admission benefit NoneSuch Space, a non-profit gallery and community event place.
