A New Tree Sitter In the Grove

The police had maintained a blockade of the oak grove for over two weeks. On Sunday 7/6 a tree sitter named Jeff was able to get past police and over the fences. He got into a small oak tree on the south end of the grove. The next day he was able to jump the fence and get into a better tree. He lost his pack and had no water. He was weak and tired. This did not stop him and he was able to travel tree to tree. Eventually a tree sitter named Shem was able to come from the Redwood tree and throw him a rope. Jeff then traversed across to the tree Shem was in and they took a several hour journey to the Redwood tree. The tree sit goes on.

People should be ready to defend the grove on July 17. On that day the judge will decide to keep the injunction, stopping the trees from being cut, in place or not. If they move to cut the trees we need to stop them.
