SF City Attorney drags his foot on the AIMCO case - it is over two years and counting ....

Dennis Herrera with intent has not been addressing the Apartment Investment Management Company (AIMCO) case. It is over two years and he is instrumental in dragging the case. If he cannot handle it - bring in the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

It has been over two years and several parties among them City Build, Local 22, Sophie Maxwell, so called consultants Arnold Townsend, Linda Richardson, Gary Banks, Keith Jackson, and others have with intent - made money have been on the take - and done injustice to the workers - taking money from AIMCO.

It all started with the District 10 Supervisor - for the longest time ever - working behind close doors to get over $73 million from the California Debt Limit and Allocation Committee to rehabilitate some 276 plus units linked to the All Hallows, Shoreview and La Salle complexes at Bayview Hunters Point.

These complexes have a history of problems and were build inferior to start with. The Department of Building Inspection has the history on these complexes and sued AIMCO some year back.

The Rogue Company involved in this debacle is Apartment Investment Management Company (AIMCO).

AIMCO was fined before for not maintaining these units that are NOT Public Housing.
AIMCO makes a lot of money - renting these units and has been treating the renters - like dirt.

Some years ago - the Department of Building Inspection - took the lead and one thing led to another and the City and County of San Francisco filed a suit against AIMCO - and the City and County of San Francisco - was paid $3 million.

But, this fine has NOT deterred AIMCO from making back door deals and especially paying off
Sophie Maxwell - who has a cozy relationship with the corrupt Dennis Herrera.

Sophie Maxwell brought the issue of giving AIMCO a break through the California Debt Limit Allocation Committee (CDLAC) and initially wanted to help AIMCO get over a $100 million.

Espanola Jackson and I happened to be at the SF Board of Supervisors meeting and sent the agenda item - back to committee where it had not been heard.

Sophie Maxwell has a track record of bringing items before the Full Board of Supervisors - without sending them to Committee. She does this regularly and has been allowed to do so - by Aaron Peskin.

In the meantime there was language in the proposal to Ellis Act the tenants and adversely harm the tenants linked to the AIMCO contract.

The Land Use Committee of which Sophie Maxwell is the corrupt head - heard the agenda item and sent it back to the SF BOS - this time with a lesser amount of $73 million.

Some of us went to Sacramento to follow the issue and saw first hand the crook consultants - beg for the money. Among them Linda Richarson, Keith Jackson, Gary Banks, Arnold Towsend, and others. It is a shame that these folks - who are NOT trusted in the Bayview Hunters Point community are making money on the side.

Each of the above scum bags received huge amounts of money and continue to receive money even today from AIMCO. And as I said some of them are not trusted by the community and do not live in the community - Keith Jackson does not, Gary Banks does not, and so does Arnold Townsend. Gary and Arnold are supposedly Pastors - now, what are Black Pastors doing in such a business? Who are their Bishops?

As soon as AIMCO got the money - AIMCO with Sophie Maxwell in the cock-pit got City Build involved. City Build hired non-union workers a mandate that was broken - as the contract clearly mandated Union Workers.

City Build comes under the Mayor Office of Economic Development and Work Force. City Build under Rhonda Simmons has wasted over $7 million. It is a utter failure but some one still keeps funding this rogue organization - backed by incompetent folks like Sophie Maxwell and Dwayne Jones.

Local 22 which a corrupt Union and one Bill Wong a Local 22 thug - created cells where the workers were pitied one against the other. You can view the hearing - dated February 28, 2008 at City Hall. The testimony sent shock waves all over the country.

The SF Weekly had a cover story but this shame does not faze Dennis Herrera and Sophie Maxwell. AIMCO still continues to cheat and treat the residents with disdain.

There have been shooting and killing on the AIMCO property and the AIMCO security guards are a laughing stock. They have no clue what they are doing. They stand and watch their shadows. Pathetic.

Sophie Maxwell was present at the February 28, 2008 hearing in Room 263 at City Hall and showed little remorse.

Pretending at times to be sympathetic to the AIMCO workers but faking it.

The workers for months on end - were intimidated, their pay checks taken from them and little money given, the workers suffered a lot. This went on for over two years in some cases - all documented in lengthy depositions.

I had to find some advocates and finally managed to get some pro bono lawyers - to help the workers. I was aided by Dorothy Petterson who has a through knowledge of the situation at hand - being one of the only active Tenant Organization and the Tenant President of the Shoreview Tenants.

It was Dorothy and I that earlier had gone to Sacramento to see the vultures - the so called consultants pleading that AIMCO should be given the bond money. It was pathetic to see these scum bags - beg and beg the State without knowing a thing about the community and less about the rogue activities of AIMCO.

AIMCO is a property manager that has a very bad track record all over the Nation. Much like the Rogue Lennar Company. These crooks seem to gravitate towards San Francisco and are harbored by City Attorney Dennis Herrera and those that work for him.

Dennis Herrera has NOT done a thing to help the residents adversely affected. It is time the Federal Bureau of Investigation step in. The crimes are horrendous and it is all on tape. And here we have City Attorney Dennis Herrera sitting on this case - for over two years.

The on going investigation has been going on for over two years. Investigators are changed - and the City Attorneys office will not entertain - not one single meeting with the victims.

The District Attorney's Office - that of Kamala Harris has not done much - either. What is happening to San Francisco?

These scum bags have the time to be in the parades and to canvass for National candidates - but closer to home - they are screwing innocent constituents and more the residents living in the Shoreview, All Hallows, and La Salle Complexes.

After the February 28, hearing at City Hall in Room 263 - AIMCO fired the sub-contractors who were fleecing the workers. Many of them Latino and African Americans.

The workers were exploited and many fired for no reason - and had not been working for months - some over a year. We the advocates with the help of the pro-bono lawyers - got the workers their jobs back.

This perhaps is the only case where all the fired workers - were interviewed - double checked as parties to the pending law suit - and then given an orientation and hired back. But, many still bear the scars of the time - when they were traumatized.

The families had to endure great suffering - while Sophie Maxwell takes trips to Canada and Paris!

The new sub-contractor RUBECORN is understanding - and is working with the advocates, residents and the community.

Rubecorn is stationed in the community. The other rogue sub-contractors were not.

AIMCO is meeting with Sophie Maxwell and may be the City Attorney - behind close door trying to settle this case.

This case must send a clear signal not only to AIMCO but to another Rogue Company the John Stewart Company that is trying to take over a large area, tear down units and build thousands of homes at Hunters View - most at Market Value for a population that does not resemble the one living there - now.

As you can imagine Sophie Maxwell is tied to the hip with the John Stewart Company, as she is to the Lennar Company, as she is to AIMCO - as she is to anyone that will pay her under the table. She takes junkets to many places - most everything paid for.

You must hear this dumb, inept, fat cow makes vague statements and not understand fundamentals of anything that is deliberated at City Hall.

This is one City Supervisor who has NOT represented her District and must be sent packing. A recall is in order.

In the meantime Dennis Herrera is wasting a lot of time fighting for brand new Combustion Turbines with Sophie Maxwell at his side. Wasted on whole day at the Regional Water Board - I was there.

Fought the community on the 33,200 signature that we collected - to stop the SF Redevelopment in the Bayview Hunters Point - without meaningful dialog with the constituents. This matter is in the Appeals Court and few know about it.

Dennis Herrera is fighting the community on this one.

Dennis Herrera sided with Lennar with Proposition G and fought the community. Lennar is declaring bankruptcy left, right, and center. What has Dennis Herrera to say about this one?

Dennis Herrera will fight for life-style issue that are not really the main concern of the constituents of San Francisco. Too much of this pussyfooting will back-fire. He loves the lime light and joins in parades to bask in the sun on this one anal issue.

In the mean time we DEMAND the investigation on AIMCO done properly and AIMCO sent packing back - to Ohio or where ever the came back.

We want City Build investigated and one Rhonda Simmons.

We want Sophie Maxwell investigated and the amount of money she has taken. The FBI must be notified of her illegal activities with Lennar and Roy Willis, with AIMCO, and with the John Stewart company.

We want the City Attorney to meet with the victims of the AIMCO case and hear the horror stories - they must be compensated. This case will NOT go away.

In the mean time a class action has been filed - and AIMCO must pay their dues.

Children are left out to dry - with little help and little support.

In the interim these scum bags - so called Representative and City Officials want to aspire for higher office. This nonsense that I have revealed is just the tip of the iceberg.

Go to Marin Street by Cargo Way in San Francisco - there is a $30 million brand new bridge - supported by Sophie Maxwell that is NOT operational - it is too narrow. Now, why would anyone build a narrow bridge that does not cater to two vehicle plying side by side?

The AIMCO scandal is well known. The role of Local 22 the Carpenters Union is well known and one Bill Wong who took early retirement from Local 22 and now works for AIMCO.
