Relatives Will Denounce Obama Aides' Involvement in Elian Gonzalez's Case

Saturday, June 21, 2008 : MIAMI, FL -- Elian Gonzalez's relatives will protest two Obama campaign advisers who helped send Eli back to Cuba, El Nuevo Herald reports. Greg Craig, now a foreign policy advisor for Obama, represented Eli's father in the custody battle with his Miami relatives.
Eric Holder, on Obama's vice-president search committee, was deputy attorney general when Eli Gonzez was returned to Cuba. In 2000, when the conflict broke, Obama was a senator in Illinois was uninvolved. The protest will occur at Miami Town Hall just before the Democratic presidential candidate attends a conference.
