Nonviolent Offender Rehabilitation Act (NORA) has qualified for the
November state ballot!
Dear friends, allies and NORA supporters,
The Secretary of State announced late yesterday afternoon that the
Nonviolent Offender Rehabilitation Act (NORA) has qualified for the
November state ballot! Because we turned in nearly double the
necessary signatures, we aren't surprised-but we are very pleased at
the development, which marks an important milestone in the campaign
to pass NORA. Thank you for your early support!
Now that the measure has secured a spot on the November ballot, we
are very excited about building a strong campaign with your help. As
we build that coalition, we will hold off on the formal campaign
launch probably for several weeks. We'll keep you posted!
Best regards,
Margaret
