Join the Democratic World Federalists for their Annual Good Government Luncheon Lecture on Sunday, March 30th. The mission of the Democratic World Federalists is "to abolish of war and crimes against humanity, promote a just world community through the development of enforceable world law, and preserve a livable and healthful global environment."

This event will take place at the Veterans' War Memorial Building and is co-sponsored by Veterans for Peace, Chapter 69, and the American Legion, Post 315. Cindy Sheehan, a mother who became an avid anti-war activist after losing her son in Iraq, will be speaking on the question of attaining sustainable global peace. Also, Annie and the Vets, a group that recently played at the Bluegrass Festival, will perform before the program begins.

There will be coffee, wine, dessert, and a buffet luncheon. Please register by March 24th. Registration for the luncheon and the program is $18. Registration for the program (which includes coffee and dessert) is $7. The luncheon begins at 11:30 and the music and program begin at 12:00.
