We are sending a message to the rest of the country – AND to the people of Iraq, Afghanistan, and all the other places people are suffering under the crimes against humanity and war crimes of the Bush regime. To all those who have protested the illegal warmongering by the USA Empire, a big Aloha. Keep up the great work of protest against the USA war machine. We in the mid Pacific are also doing our part in oposing the Empire's militarist plans. The Army--despite overwhelming public testimonies against the Stryker brigade training on sacred Kanaka Maoli(native Hawaiian) land--are trying to ram the Strykers(aka the AXLES of EVIL) down the community's throat. The Air Force, meanwhile, are flying B-2 bombers all the way from Guam to bomb Mauna Kea at the Pohakuloa Training Area(most probably in dry runs for possible air raids on Iran if and when the Bush Regime decides to start another fraudulent pre-emptive aggression.) And all this, despite the fact that the Pentagon has so far refused to conduct objective testing of Depleted Uranium(DU)on the island from its past use of dangerous & toxic ordnances.
Hawaii island residnts & citizens will be protesting the live fire training by the USA military this coming Saturday, February 23. Please call your Congress reps and tell them to tell the Pentagon to heed the people's determination to rid the entire Pacific of offensive military threats--from any foreign and/or domestic origins!
Down with U.S. Imperialism! Peace NOW. Jail the war criminals!
