Art and Labor: Reconciling Poiesis and Praxis
Bruno Gulli

What is the relationship between creative labor and artistic production? What does it mean politically to recuperate into "productive labor" the lost sense of creativity, to take "art as the model for social production"? What are the implications for a radically different political and social ontology in the return of labor to itself to its original aesthetic disposition? Bruno Gulli, Poet and acclaimed author of the Labor of Fire: The Ontology of Labor between Economy and Culture, will discuss his upcoming book on the power of social transformation through the reconceptualization of art and labor.
